Elder Scrolls Online Announced for Xbox One and PS4

In a stunning announcement today during E3, Bethesda announced that The Elder Scrolls Online is currently in development for next-gen consoles Xbox One and Playstation 4 in addition to the previously announced PC and Mac versions. Fans have been calling for this since the announcement of the latest title in the popular Elder Scrolls series, and should be thrilled to hear this today. Today’s announcement is a major game-changer (pardon the pun), as one of the most largely debated topics to date has been whether or not TESO will be a subscription based game. The logical assumption to this question is obviously “No”.

As well as announcing the availability of ESO on these new consoles, fans also got the first estimation of a release, estimated for Spring of 2014.

  1. Sony also revealed, during it’s conference at E3 today, that the PS4 will be the first console to have the beta version of the game.

  2. Can’t wait! I’m still not sure, maybe PS4, or maybe even Xbox One.. I’ll see when they both are out..
